Children's Choirs

Our Children’s Choir program is divided by age into three groups:

  • Cherub Choir - Three and four year olds. Wednesdays 5:15p-5:40p . Cherub Choir will resume in September.
  • Carol Choir - Five years old through first grade. Sundays, 5:00p-5:30p.. (Snack supper @ 5:30p - $1 in Fellowship Hall). Carol Choir will resume in September.
  • Covenant Choir - Second through fifth grades. Sundays, 6:00p-7:00p. (Snack supper @ 5:30p - $1 in Fellowship Hall) Covenant Choir will resume in September.
  • The youngest is the Cherub Choir. With this choir we concentrate on developing a love for singing and fun. They typically sing 2 services per year, during Christmas and near the end of the year.

Next is the Carol Choir. With this choir we still concentrate on growing a love for singing, and we begin to introduce more of the structures and principles that are part of being in a choir. this choir will sing in church more frequently, and be involved in our musicals.

The oldest is the Covenant Choir, which meets Sunday evenings, still focuses on fostering a love for singing. This choir will sing in services regularly and perform a musical during Christmas and in the Spring.

All Choirs meet in the choir room. Three and four year olds go to the nursery after choir. On Sunday when the Carol Choir finishes, we meet parents in the circle. For more information, please contact Wayne Martz.
